Events
During the course of the year, the Carnival Group organise a wide range of events and rely on support from the local community to raise funds for the annual carnival. Any suggestions for additional fundraising events are always gratefully received.
13 June 2009 - Carnival Rounders Tournament
Held on Mount Field on Saturday 13th June, the Rounders Tournament is a great day out for all the family. Anyone wishing to enter a team can do so by contacting Rhys Stephens on 01938 810625 or Ellen Jones on 01938 810280. Entry fee is £10. Teams must comprise of 9 members, 4 of which must be female. The team must include a child of primary school age and one of high school age and there must also be a player who is aged 50 or over.
19 May 2009 - Carnival Bingo
The Llanfair Carnival Group are hosting their quarterly bingo at the Institute on Tuesday 19th May, starting at 7pm. There are 8 house prizes of £8 up for grabs and the final game, the Flyer, has a house prize of £15.
11 May 2009 - Carnival Quiz
The Black Lion are hosting a quiz on the 11th May, starting at 8pm - where all proceeds will go to the Llanfair Carnival Group.
08 December 2008 - Christmas Carnival Bingo
The Llanfair Carnival Group are hosting their Christmas bingo at the Institute on Tuesday 8th December, starting at 7pm. There's great prizes such as turkeys, hampers and cash up for grabs.
